ABOUT THE
CORVETTE RACING
PROGRAM
Launched in 1999 as a collaboration between Chevrolet and Pratt Miller Engineering, Corvette Racing has become one of endurance racing’s most decorated and enduring factory programs. Over 25 seasons, the team has defined American success on both sides of the Atlantic, achieving victories in IMSA, the FIA World Endurance Championship, and the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
From the debut of the C5-R at Daytona to the revolutionary mid-engined C8.R, each generation of Corvette race car has carried the same DNA, a commitment to performance, teamwork, and engineering innovation. Corvette Racing claimed its first Le Mans class victory in 2001, igniting a streak that would lead to eight Le Mans wins and numerous IMSA and ALMS championships.
Under the leadership of Pratt Miller Motorsports, Corvette Racing became the benchmark for reliability and endurance discipline. Legendary drivers such as Oliver Gavin, Jan Magnussen, Antonio Garcia, Johnny O’Connell, and Tommy Milner helped build a program respected for both its speed and its unwavering sense of identity.
The team’s defining seasons include its 2020 GTLM championship sweep, 2021 Rolex 24 victory, and the 2023 Le Mans GTE Am triumph, which closed the GTE chapter with a fitting symbol of Corvette’s resilience and global reach.
Now entering a new era with the Corvette Z06 GT3.R, the program continues under the Corvette Racing banner in partnership with Pratt Miller Motorsports and a growing customer base around the world. The spirit of competition, precision, and teamwork that began in 1999 lives on, from Daytona to Le Mans.
