Born in Nastola, Finland in 1989, Valtteri Bottas has long been recognized as one of motorsport’s most consistent and respected competitors, admired for his precision, discipline, and quiet determination both on and off the track.

Bottas’ journey began in Finnish karting, where he claimed multiple national titles before progressing to international competition. His early promise translated quickly to single-seaters, capturing both the Formula Renault Eurocup and Northern European Cup championships in 2008, and later securing the 2011 GP3 Series title, a result that earned him recognition as one of the most talented young drivers of his generation.

He made his Formula 1 debut with Williams in 2013, showcasing natural speed and calm composure against his competitors. A first podium came in Austria 2014, and his performances soon caught the attention of Mercedes-AMG Petronas, who signed him for the 2017 season.
