ABOUT THE

ASTON MARTIN RACING

PROGRAM
Founded in 2004 as the official competition arm of Aston Martin, Aston Martin Racing stands as one of endurance racing’s most enduring and evocative programs, blending British heritage with modern engineering excellence.

Based in Banbury, England and operated in partnership with Prodrive, Aston Martin Racing returned the marque to the world stage after decades away from factory competition. The debut of the DBR9 GT1 marked the beginning of a new era, one that would see Aston Martin claim class victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans (2007 & 2008) and establish a legacy defined by craftsmanship, design purity, and relentless performance.

As endurance racing evolved, so too did Aston Martin. The Vantage GTE became the brand’s defining machine, carrying the marque to FIA World Endurance Championship titles in 2016, 2017, and 2020, including the unforgettable 2017 Le Mans GTE Pro victory, a moment immortalized by Jonny Adam’s final-lap overtake. That triumph embodied the essence of Aston Martin: precision, courage, and control under pressure.

Beyond the factory effort, Aston Martin’s Vantage GT3 and GT4 programs have flourished worldwide, winning championships in IMSA, GT World Challenge, British GT, and beyond. These customer racing platforms have carried the brand’s Racing Green identity to every major endurance circuit on the planet.

Today, Aston Martin Racing remains a symbol of endurance heritage, a fusion of art and engineering, passion and precision. From the echo of Le Mans’ Mulsanne Straight to the hills of Spa and Nürburgring, Aston Martin Racing continues to represent the unmistakable roar of British racing tradition reborn for the modern era.
